Hey, everyone! Welcome to my little corner of the interwebs. Thanks for stopping by! 

I figured my first post should share information about me, and how I intend to use this blog.

I am a SAHM (stay at home mom, for those of you who aren't familiar with the lingo!) to two very active little boys. In addition to caring for my boys, I am also responsible for an elderly family member of mine. Though she lives in a facility, I am still responsible for attending her doctor appointments, managing her finances, the upkeep of her now-vacant home, etc. 

When I first got pregnant with my oldest son, I fully intended to continue working and be a "working mom" forever. When number two came along, I still held onto those intentions. But about a year after that, I realized that I couldn't continue to juggle my two kids, my elderly aunt, and my job. So, without much preparation or discussion, I decided to quit my job to stay at home.

Very shortly after my last day on the job, my husband and I realized how much tighter our finances were going to be. It was at that point that I started couponing and finding ways to save money here and there. Over time, it became like a game to me. I thrived on finding the best deals and saving as much money as I could. I started sharing my good buys with family and friends and realized that I had a true passion for helping others save money, too!

So, though I'm not a blogger, per se, I decided to give it a shot. Perhaps I could help others find ways to earn/save money, too. And if not, at the very least I'd be documenting the savings opportunities for my own personal use!
